Welcome to the 4Gospels blog. This blog hopes to deal with the credentials of rhte four canonical gospels and to set them in comparison with other gospels so that the contrast can be seen. I don't expect to post very frequently, nor that this will be read much, but these are my notes to myself and I hope they are of benefit to readers.
Anyway, I've been considering recently the level of familiarity with geography in the 4 gospels. In this connection the Sophia of Jesus Christ doesn't fare very well. In NHC 91:19ff. it refers to:
'the Mount which is called "of Olives" in Galilee.'
